What does ODM Tea do?

ODM Tea supplies Fujian-origin white tea, oolong tea, black tea, green tea and jasmine tea through named origin partners, and gunpowder and Chunmee sourced from Zhejiang and Anhui for the African volume trade. The producing, refining, testing and packing parties are named in the quotation. Only the Fujian lines carry a Fujian origin claim.

Fujian is not an arbitrary base. The province ships two thirds of China's oolong tea exports, ranks first in China for scented tea exports, second for black and other semi-fermented tea, and third for green tea behind Zhejiang and Anhui. Black tea was invented in Tongmu, inside the Wuyishan area, and Lapsang Souchong is the tea every other black tea in the world descends from.

Why say which teas are sourced?

ODM Tea states which teas are sourced because origin substitution is the most common complaint in the Chinese tea trade, and the usual form it takes is a Fujian company presenting Zhejiang gunpowder as its own origin product. Stating the sourcing openly costs nothing that is real and removes the one claim a buyer cannot verify from the other side of the world.

What does ODM Tea publish?

ODM Tea publishes a compiled 2025 China tea export data report, a 49-term trade glossary, 21 sourced pieces on tea knowledge, grades and destination compliance, and two calculators. In the data report, only the selection, commentary and table layout are offered under CC BY 4.0; the underlying figures belong to the primary sources cited with each table, stay under those bodies' terms and are reproduced for reference. Health-related pages cite government guidance and peer-reviewed research; trade figures carry the original statistics or regulatory source.
