Privacy notice
The current website build sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and makes no third-party request when a page loads. It does not send enquiry-form data to a hosted database. The enquiry form prepares an email in the visitor's own email application; nothing is sent until the visitor sends that email.
Who is responsible?
The controller of enquiry information is Xiamen Xidansi Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd., Unified Social Credit Code 91350211MAKM5F5R49, registered in Jimei District, Xiamen, Fujian, China. It operates the ODM Tea website.
What information is involved?
If you choose to email us, the message may contain your name, email address, company, destination, products, quantities and any details you add. Your email provider and the receiving email provider process that message under their own terms.
Why is it used?
Enquiry information is used to understand the requested product, prepare a response, discuss a quotation and keep necessary business correspondence. It is not used for marketing.
On what lawful basis?
Where the EU GDPR or the UK GDPR applies, enquiry information is processed on two bases. Answering an enquiry and preparing a specification or quotation are steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)). Keeping the resulting business correspondence as a record of what was asked and offered is in the controller's legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)); you may object to that use, as set out below.
Where is it processed?
Enquiries are handled by the controller in Xiamen, China, which is outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, and for which no adequacy decision exists. When you choose to email an enquiry, the transfer is necessary for pre-contractual steps taken at your request, and relies on Article 49(1)(b) of the GDPR and the UK GDPR. Processing in China is also subject to the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China.
How long is it kept?
Enquiry correspondence is kept only as long as needed to answer the enquiry and, where a quotation or contract follows, to keep the business record of it. A definite retention period has not yet been set; it will be stated here.
Do not send sensitive information
Do not include passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or other sensitive personal data in the website enquiry. Commercial specifications and artwork can be exchanged after a contact has been established.
Third parties and cookies
This build sets no cookies and uses no analytics. Fonts are served from this site rather than from a font provider, so loading a page makes no request to any third party and discloses your IP address to no one but the host. Links to source documents — customs bulletins, regulators, standards bodies — are ordinary outbound links: nothing is requested from those sites until you click one.
Your rights
Where the GDPR or a comparable law applies, you may request access to the enquiry correspondence held about you, its correction or erasure, a restriction on its use, or a copy in portable form, and you may object to its use. Send any such request to the address below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority of the country where you live or work, or where you believe the infringement took place.
What is still to be completed
Still to be supplied by the operator: the controller's full registered street address and postcode; the email hosting provider that receives and stores enquiry mail; a definite retention period for enquiry correspondence; whether a representative in the EU or the UK is appointed under Article 27 of the GDPR. This notice will also be revised before any hosted form, analytics or marketing subscription is switched on.
