The fastest-growing markets for Chinese tea in 2025
Among China's ten largest tea markets by value in 2025, Côte d'Ivoire grew fastest: volume up 300.4% to 16,701.2 tonnes. Senegal followed at +61.4%, then Mauritania at +26.8% and Uzbekistan at +17.3%. Morocco, the largest market, grew 13.4%, ahead of China's all-destination 11.9%. Three of the ten shrank: Malaysia (−11.5%), the United States (−11.8%) and Ghana (−53.2%).

Full-year 2025 changes against 2024, from Table 6 of the CCCFNA monthly tea export report, which lists the ten largest destinations by value; smaller destinations are not ranked here. Russia is not in that table: an industry series put Chinese tea into Russia down 19.2% year-to-date, a different source and period, so it is not ranked against these figures.
