Where the national book is 88.11% green by volume, Fujian's is led by oolong — 13,500 tonnes and USD 143 million in 2023, 46.6% of provincial volume and 46.76% of provincial value. Green tea is second at USD 103 million, black tea third at USD 28.05 million and scented jasmine fourth at USD 17.79 million.

Shares are from Fujian customs data for 2023 as reported in trade press. The series does not cover every category: oolong, green and scented tea make up 94.13% of provincial export volume (black tea volume is not published), and the four listed categories 95.48% of value. The remainder is dark tea, white tea and other categories not published separately. Fujian's first-half 2025 total was 10,000 tonnes, up 18%, worth CNY 630 million, up 7%.
