Chinese tea export companies to know in 2026
China exported 418,800 tonnes of tea in 2025, through large state and provincial exporters and many smaller firms. This list profiles four large exporters from their own published records, and ODM Tea, which publishes the list, at number five.

How do I choose a Chinese tea exporter?
Match the exporter to the tea and the volume: a large exporter for big volumes of standard grades, an origin specialist for named-origin teas. Then check the legal entity on China's national business register, the named producer, a sealed reference sample and the document list before paying a deposit.
