Bulk tea supply
Bulk supply runs from two books. The origin book — white, green, oolong, black and jasmine — is grown in Fujian by named origin partners, with the producer and the relationship confirmed in the quotation. The volume book — gunpowder 3505 to 9575 and Chunmee 41022 and the 93xx series — is sourced in Zhejiang and Anhui and refined to the written contract specification. Both ship in multiwall paper sacks or cartons at the contract net weight under HS 0902.20 or 0902.40; minimum quantity and lead time are stated per quotation.

Which grades are supplied in bulk?
Every grade listed on the site can be quoted in bulk. From Fujian: Bai Ya Qi Lan, Tie Guan Yin and the Wuyishan rock oolongs; Lapsang Souchong, Jin Jun Mei and Tanyang Gongfu; Bai Hao Yin Zhen through Shou Mei; Fujian green; and jasmine at three, five and seven scenting rounds. Sourced and disclosed: gunpowder 3505 with its sub-grade suffix, 9375, 9475 and 9575, and Chunmee 41022, 9371 and the 936x series.
How is a fixed cup held across shipments?
A fixed cup is held by blending to the approved sample rather than shipping single lots. Tea is an agricultural product with seasonal variation; the way to deliver the same cup in March and October is to cup each lot against the retained reference and blend to it, where repeat-lot matching is contracted. Buyers who need this specify it at the enquiry stage.
What is wholesale or bulk tea?
Bulk tea is tea sold by weight in trade packs — multiwall paper sacks or cartons, usually tens of kilograms each — for blending, repacking or food service rather than for the shelf. Wholesale describes the trade relationship: selling to businesses that resell or use the tea. There is no fixed weight at which an order becomes wholesale. Loose-leaf tea simply means tea not packed in bags.
What does bulk tea cost?
The published figures are trade averages, not prices. In China's 2025 export statistics tea averaged USD 3.691,2 per tonne; green tea USD 3,368.2, black tea USD 5.258,0 and specialty teas USD 6,981.9. By destination, Morocco paid USD 3.043,4 per tonne and Senegal USD 4,024.6. Any real quotation depends on grade, season, residue standard, packing, volume and Incoterm.
Local prices in India or Bangladesh are set in their own auctions and markets, and organic tea carries a premium that varies with certification, yield and demand; this site tracks neither. A buyer comparing offers should compare written specifications and delivery terms, not a single number per kilogram.
Can a café or tea shop buy bulk tea directly from origin?
Yes, if the volume and the paperwork justify it. Buying from an exporter removes intermediaries, but it makes the buyer responsible for importing: customs clearance, any food registration the destination requires, and duties. Many shops buy through a local importer or wholesaler who holds stock; a direct order makes sense once the buyer has an importer of record and a steady volume.

What is the minimum order for bulk tea?
Minimum quantity is stated per quotation and differs by line — a refined gunpowder programme and a top-grade white tea are not sold on the same terms. Send the destination, grade and quantity and the quotation states it.
Can bulk tea be shipped to Morocco and Russia from the same supplier?
Yes. Morocco takes gunpowder and Chunmee under ONSSA residue limits; Russia takes origin categories under EAEU regulations TR CU 021/2011 and 022/2011. The specification discipline is the same; the residue standard and label law are set per destination.

What is the best wholesale tea?
The one that matches the cup your customers buy, at the residue standard your market enforces. Choose the category and grade by the drink — mint tea, milk tea, iced tea or plain loose leaf — then cup samples side by side before comparing prices.
Do you supply wholesale matcha?
Matcha is not among the lines on this site. It is shade-grown green tea stone-ground to powder, a style most associated with Japan; a bulk matcha enquiry is better sent to a specialist producer.
